Since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to help people, and nursing became my perfect fit! My journey took me from the NICU to a busy pediatric ER for over 10 years, where I fell in love with the fast-paced world of urgent care. Along the way, I wanted to keep my skills sharp, and began teaching CPR as a certified instructor with the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which sparked a passion for teaching and led me to offer CPR classes and parent workshops in homes, businesses, and beyond.

Over the years, I have moved through various nursing roles to keep nursing interesting and new, and to enjoy life as a wife to my supportive husband, and a Mom to two wonderful (and energetic) boys. I've dabbled in research and community nursing, and honed my skills in pharmacy, vaccination. and travel health.  Now, I have found my second home as a school nurse, working with a dedicated staff caring for the neurodiverse.  The joy of teaching, connecting and providing comfort to others remains at the heart of my work, and is the core of what Nurse it UP! is built on.

Caring, Connecting, Educating and loving every minute of it.

Today we are starting slow, but there is so much more to come, and I can't wait to share it with you, the "Nurse it UP!" way.
